I'm curious whether Shoigu himself has understood what he did when he repeated Grachev's exploit. In hand-waving terms, the Russian Federation's Minister of Defence has just PUBLICLY RENOUNCED his own soldiers. Exactly like Grachev did it in 1994, when the tank column with Russian military men was burnt in Grozny. And the officers of the Kantemir Division were being captivated.
„These are not our soldiers,“ told Grachev then.
- These are not our soldiers, claims Shoigu now.
It is already eighteen years that I am connected with the army. Meanwhile my conviction „Army will abandon you, sunny. Always“ became certainty.
During this period I understood absolutely clearly that this country will send you to fight in Bum Fuck Egypt, will betray you, will sell you and finally will renounce you. I know this fairly well. I experienced this first-hand.
Army will leave you, sunny. Always.
It has just left its soldiers once again.
In passing. Without a second thought about what it actually does. Making absolutely nothing of the consequences.
Abandonned them twice. First, its was the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, alias the President, who renounced his soldiers. Then, following his chief, the Minister of Defence renounced his soldiers. So, having renounced their soldiers in the public, Shoigu and Putin outlawed them.
Now these armed men are not the Russian military men. Not the officers of a country. Now they are some strange criminals who occupied the military assets with deadly force. Russia's protectorate does not apply to these people any more. Because, you know, they are not our soldiers.
And now – all honor to Shoigu! - Ukraine has every right to apply force to them, up to physical distruction.
And Russia will not be able even to yap. And that's for the only reason that its Commander-in-Chief and its Minister of Defence liked it to shit blue in such a wacky way, so childly, in front of the whole world.
Soldiers! Your President and your Minister has just betrayed you.
Fight. Give your lives for them.
Lie light upon them, earth!

Two weeks after the lockdown in Paris

It's been already two weeks that we don't have to fill in the paper about the reason why we're out and not staying at home. And we are free to move as far as 100 km instead of 1 km and 1 hour. However, during the rush-hour, if one doesn't have an official job, one cannot use the public transport in Île-de-France in the morning and in the evening. The employees can be asked to present a special document from their employers allowing them to use the transport. When I go for a walk, it's so strikingly horrible to see all these people who, like the flies attracted by jam, are sitting on the boards of the popular channels Saint Martin or La Villette inspired by the weather and freedom. Everybody is tired of death. The roads are full too. This awful urban noise and smell are back too. There are however more quiet streets, and the center of Paris is still almost empty and it's strange to see no crowds of tourists running in all the directions. But it takes one hour...
