Die Wand - The Wall
This is a movie-landscape that was filmed in Austrian Alps. At the beginning it makes one think that it could not appear but in a first world country as it reflects some of the first world's problems that, to an outsider's eye, seem to be false. At the same time, it covers an important theme - not only about 'Traumorte', places one dreams about, but also, in a more general sense, about our human desire that always exсeeds what we have, desire for something more, desire that can never be satisfied: "the accepted reality of mankind, which people can't find, aren't allowed to find, and don't want to find". Any 'topos', any utopia transforms easily, with the touch of a human, into dystopia.
